Ingredient format
Cold-pressed, stabilised marula kernel oil. Sourced from very specific regions of the savanna that are hot and have a max of 850mm rainfall in summer. Collection is only done in the dry season.
Why it is distinctive
A traceable, standardised oxidation-managed marula oil designed to offer greater colour, odour and compositional consistency than an unstandardised or unrefined option.

Published human study (n=20) reported that topical marula oil was non-irritant and produced moisturising, hydrating and occlusive effects (p<0.001). Botanical level evidence. Velden batch quality is separately controlled.
